Oh behalf of Grace and her family, Annie received the money for Grace to begin her charcoal business, a blanket for herself, and a mosquito net for her grandchildren. We still need a sponor for Robert before Friday so that he does not have to wait a year before graduating from primary school.
Annie is a teacher by trade and has been caring for this family in their need even though she has no job either. AND, Annie is a hugger (yea!). She has been proven responsible and will ensure that the family follows through with setting up the charcoal business. As you can imagine, the temptation would be very strong to purchase food with the money rather than purchase the assets for the business. I will periodically ask the ministry liaison to report on her and maybe get a few pictures.
